About Us
Hello,
My name is Shawn Pierce; I am the driver for Pierce Racing, prostock racecar #21. Pierce Racing is a family run race team. We race at tracks (oval tracks) all over the Maritimes, on the Maritime Pro Stock Tour. Our race team is in need of sponsorship for 2007 race season. We are including a budget of our expected expenses for the up coming season.
First I would like to begin with a little information about are race team. I am the driver, my father is the car owner, my mother, brothers, and close friends help work on the car getting it ready for the next race weekend, and keep it going at the race track.
The team started some 20+ year ago, with my father (Dave Pierce) a dedicated racer (recently awarded for his 20 year of dedication to racing) who drove MASCAR (car 21). He logged many wins, and accomplished many great finishes in his 18+ years of racing, before retiring with the end of the MASCAR tour.
I began racing Street Stock for three years, all three years I finished in the top ten in points. I then move on to race the Maritime Sportsman for one year. I won Rookie of the year and finished in the top 10 in points.
Over the past five years I have raced the Maritime pro stock tour, having many top 5 finishes and many top tens.
Maritime Pro Stock Tour
I would like to give you so information about the Pro Stock Tour. The tour has an 10-race schedule. With stops at 5 different racetracks, in 3 provinces, N.B Greay (New Brunswick Interational Speed Way). PEI Oyster Bed Bridge (Raceway Park). N.S. Antigonish (Riverside speedway), and Halifax (Scotia Speed World). All races are minimal 100 laps.
What We Can Do For You
You may wonder what can racing do for you or what can my race team do for you. Well I am driving a moving Billboard. Think about it. Would 3,000+ people stop along the highway for three hours and look at your billboard? No I don’t think so! But they do stop and look at are racecars at the track, for up to three + hours, for 10 weeks out of the summer. Along with the time we are on the highway and passing cars see the racecar on the hailer, along with the time at the Malls, or at gas stations.
